The weather was perfect and the scores were hot!
Glacier Technology’s 14th Annual Golf outing was held this week and the weather was absolutely perfect – low humidity and 85 degrees. Huge kudo’s to Scott’s mom as she once again pulled off a winning day with her prayers for great weather!
The world famous Shamrock Golf Course certainly brought the luck of the Irish to Patrick Mulligan. Patrick is a past winner that knows his way around a golf course and drives like a PGA pro. Patrick had ample help with his stacked team of Pat Spence, Chris Kinney and golf cart rodeo champ, Bill Jacobs! A new record was set for seven under for the nine grueling holes. Each member of his stacked team walked away with a 100 dollar bill!
All time MVP of Glacier’s golf tourney, Chris Hanson, thought his team had it in the bag at five under only to find out he was a little short of walking away with the trophy, green jacket, and endorsement deals. Chris did, however, shine in Closest to the Pin, claiming the $100 prize. All teams finished under par with Iceman Scott Clausen’s team finishing two under.
Classic comedian, Tom Stecker, did not get the last laugh, as his wife, Jan, stole from him the Longest Putt honors, along with the $100 prize. Jan beat her husband’s putt by six inches!
The feast put on by Lee Kalivoda and Tara Kinney was simply amazing. Their pellet cooking of ribs, beef brisket, and chicken was delicious and the reason why people publish “how to” guides on cooking.
We now have another fantastic outing in the books. This one will be hard to top!
