Another Big Hit and a New Record Set
Glacier Technology’s 13th Annual Golf outing was held on Saturday, August 7th. The event was a huge success including a new record set for low score – 6 under.
Shamrock Golf Course did an excellent job hosting the event and even brought the beer cart in early to make sure our golfers had their “aiming fluid” properly filled. Once again our own weather guru, Scott’s Mom, worked the weather to make it a beautiful day for golf.
This year was also a new low for Iceman Scott Clausen as he managed to drag his team into last place with a dismal 2 over (par 3’s killed them).
The winning dream team, which had the record-setting low score, also had several formal complaints filed against them as being unfairly stacked. The team consisted of:
- Chris Hanson – a former champ and scratch golfer
- Jonathan Rans – a former champ and 350 yard drive golfer
- Thad Engebretson – a venerable player
- Jeff Westlund – always a capable golfer
Iceman is pictured below with Chris Hanson, in a photo that captures him as close to the coveted green jacket as he will ever get.
Unfortunately Glacier’s official photographer, Loni Spence, was unable to capture a picture of the dream team after being held up on the putting green by a spectator…
The wood fire pizza was the perfect way for the group to unwind after golf.
Glacier extends a special thanks to everyone who participated. Until next year!
